CNC Setter/Operator Salary: £15.00 - £18.00 per hour (depending on experience) Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm ·Flexible start and finish times of up to 15 minutes 15-minute paid break ·Holiday Entitlement ·Additional holiday days are awarded for length of service Set up and operate CNC machines to detailed product requirements. ·Work on 2-axis, 3-axis, and 5-axis CNC machines, primarily Doosan and Haas, although candidates with experience on other CNC machine makes will also be considered. ·Use precision measuring equipment, including verniers, calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools, to ensure components meet drawing and quality specifications. ·Operate machinery safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards. ·Carry out in-process inspections, including gauging, dimensional checks, and deburring. ·Perform basic machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and in good working order. ·Report machine faults, tooling issues, or quality concerns immediately. ·Identify and suggest process improvements to improve efficiency and quality. ·Complete all required quality, production, and inspection documentation. ·General education to Level 2. ·Previous experience as a CNC Setter/Operator within a precision engineering environment. ·Experience working with CNC machine tools and automated machinery. ·Knowledge of CNC operations, tooling, and inspection methods. ·Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a manufacturing environment. ·Increasing holiday entitlement with length of service. ·Company pension scheme. ·If you're an experienced CNC Setter/Operator looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
