Salary: £40,000 for 36.5 hours

Location: Commutable from Kettering, Rushden, Raunds, Northampton, and Corby.
Profile
The successful candidate will be a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias. Experience within a food or FMCG environment is preferred but not essential. You will be a highly motivated individual with a proactive approach, as there are excellent opportunities for further development and upskilling within the role.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will work as part of a team responsible for both mechanical and electrical maintenance on new and existing equipment. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintenance and fault finding on FMCG high-speed machinery
- Working on packaging, paper, and print machinery
- Reading electrical drawings
- PLC fault finding (advantageous)
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Involvement in TPM and 5S activities across engineering and manufacturing
Mechanically, you must be fully conversant with milling and lathe machines.
