A leading food manufacturing company in Luton is expanding their engineering team and is seeking a motivated individual who wants to grow, learn, and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on food processing and packaging machinery
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot breakdowns, including working with PLC-controlled systems
  • React quickly to faults to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency
  • Support and deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Work collaboratively within a skilled engineering team to ensure high operational standards
Skills & Experience Required

The successful Maintenance Engineer will ideally have experience within a manufacturing or production environment and be electrically biased, with mechanical understanding. However, the company is open to developing the right person. If you are mechanically biased but want to strengthen your electrical skills, full training and development will be provided.

  • BTEC / ONC in Electrical or Multi-skilled Engineering
  • City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 with NVQ Level 3 Electrical Maintenance
  • Time-served apprenticeship or HNC in a relevant discipline
