We are looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of our warehouse operations. Based in Milton Keynes, this role offers the opportunity to lead a warehouse team, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance within a fast-paced food environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including packing inspection, goods in/out, stock control, and dispatch.
- Manage and optimise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead and maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, housekeeping, and safety standards.
- Carry out regular safety audits and implement corrective actions where required.
- Drive operational improvements, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
- Develop, coach, and motivate your team to achieve operational targets while maintaining high standards of morale and engagement.
About You
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a senior supervisory role within the FMCG or food sector.
- Knowledge of warehouse systems (WMS), stock control, and packing inspection processes.
- Excellent understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety requirements.
- Experience conducting safety and compliance audits.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to maintain standards and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
