An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a successful and forward-thinking manufacturing business based in Scotland.
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday day shift, competitive pay, and the chance to be part of a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
·Conduct electrical and mechanical maintenance on production and packaging equipment
·Diagnose and resolve faults quickly to reduce downtime
·Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
·Support equipment installations and upgrades
·Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
·Collaborate with other departments to maintain production efficiency
Requirements
·Time-served or qualified engineer (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)
·Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment
·Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
·Good communication and teamwork abilities
·A proactive and reliable approach to work
Candidates with experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electrician, Shift Engineer or similar backgrounds will be well-suited for this role.
