About the Role
As Site Services, Facilities & Compliance Manager, you will have a proven track record of managing site services and facilities within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment, with extensive knowledge of compliance, statutory obligations, and estate management.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the delivery of service requirements to support primary operations departments and maintain continuity of essential site services (compressed air, water, steam, process cold water, process hot water, ventilation, domestic services, drainage and effluent discharges, sprinkler systems, fire safety, and wider facilities management across the site).
- Take responsibility for the day–to–day management of site facilities, ensuring all buildings, infrastructure, utilities, and support services are maintained to the highest operational and compliance standards.
- Responsible for monitoring Legionella control on site, water quality, steam supply/quality, and effluent discharge, including performance data and KPIs, ensuring the effective delivery of all contracted services to agreed service levels.
- Manage the development of site asset and facilities strategies to meet legal, operational, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Oversee planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance for all facilities–related systems and infrastructure.
- Manage site compliance registers, ensuring all associated works are planned and actioned in line with statutory deadlines.
- Develop impact assessments and contingency plans for estate asset, utility service, or facilities failure in consultation with subject matter experts.
- Maintain the library of all SHE, Technical, Engineering, Facilities, and Insurance compliance requirements.
- Develop strategies and implementation plans for compliance, facilities optimisation, and risk mitigation.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive asset register covering all engineering and facilities assets under duty of care.
- Produce reports on compliance validation, facilities performance, and service delivery metrics.
- Manage contractor performance and external service providers, ensuring compliance, cost control, and service excellence across all facilities operations.
