About the Opportunity
We are representing a high-growth, private equity–backed consultancy with an exceptional client portfolio that spans global brands and market-leading organisations. The business is in an exciting post-acquisition phase, delivering high-impact solutions that improve performance, engagement, and operational success for its clients.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and commercially minded CFO to join the senior leadership team, act as a trusted strategic partner to the CEO and Board, and lead a finance function that is integral to delivering ambitious growth plans.

The Role
As CFO, you will shape and execute the financial strategy, oversee end-to-end finance operations, and drive performance improvement across the organisation. You will play a pivotal role in M&A activity, from due diligence to seamless integration, as well as building the financial infrastructure to support long-term, sustainable growth.

Your remit will also include operational optimisation, capital management, and ensuring that the business is fully prepared for future investment or exit events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Board, and private equity investors
  • Lead the financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
  • Drive pricing strategy, margin improvement, and cost efficiency
  • Oversee robust governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks
  • Manage M&A processes, including due diligence, negotiations, and integration
  • Build and optimise scalable financial systems, processes, and KPIs
  • Partner with operations to ensure delivery efficiency and commercial alignment
  • Lead and inspire high-performance, values-led teams

About You:

  • Proven track record as a CFO or senior finance leader in a private equity–backed business
  • Expertise in post-acquisition integration, operational scaling, and cultural transformation
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Skilled in pricing strategy, profitability improvement, and performance management
  • Demonstrated success in working closely with boards, investors, and senior leadership teams
  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to balance strategic leadership with hands-on delivery
