We are an East Midlands based heating and renewable energy company that specialises in the installation and servicing of energy-efficient boilers and heating systems throughout customers' homes and commercial properties. In addition to traditional boiler systems, we provide renewable energy solutions, including solar panels, battery storage, and air source heat pumps.
Contracts to be worked include factories, colleges, hospitals, care homes, offices, leisure facilities, and prisons.
The role involves being a commercial gas engineer with supervisory duties. The split of this position would be 60% on the tools and 40% supervisory, estimating, and quotations alongside on-the-tools engineering work across domestic and commercial gas. Responsibilities include:
- Service and repair of domestic and commercial heating systems across various contracts.
- Supervising and being the first point of contact for the engineering team, assisting with technical queries as well as the training and development of the team.
- Assisting with quotations, estimating jobs, and planning and surveying of jobs.
Essential Qualifications / Experience:
- Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial heating equipment.
- Domestic ACS gas safe certified (CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT, CEN1, CPA1).
- Commercial gas qualifications (CDGA1, CIGA1, COCN1, CORT1, TPCP1).
- Experienced in working on vented and un-vented hot water cylinders.
- Previous experience working in domestic and commercial properties.
- Full Driver’s Licence with no more than 6 points.
Benefits Package:
- Basic salary: £45,000 – £50,000 (depending on experience).
- 40-hour working week.
- Paid travel when working more than 30 minutes from the office.
- No on-call rota.
- Overtime rates paid at x1.5 Monday – Saturday and x2 on Sundays.
- Emergency call outs paid at 3 hours at rate + x1.5 or x2.
- Bonus Scheme.
- Holiday days: 28 days including bank holidays and Christmas shutdown.
