Ventilation / Duct work engineer Location : London & Home Counties Key Details: Salary: Β£42,000 β Β£48,000 per annum ( Β£75K OTE ) Contract : 40 hour week plus lunch ( 8-5pm) Travel : After 30mins either side Holiday: 21 days plus bank holidays On call β 1 in 4 β Overtime payment 1.5 rate. Double time Friday and Saturday nights. 3 hrs @ 1.5 for each call out + Β£30.00 OOH\βs call out completion bonus. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Ventilation / Duct Work Engineer to join out company based in the South East. We currently employ over 150 engineers in the South East alone across the Mechanical & Electrical sector including commercial gas and air conditioning in the Leisure & Retail sector Responsibilities: Be lead engineer on kitchen Extract and supply fan replacement. To be able to undertake small duct work amendments to allow installation of replacement kitchen supply and extract fans. To be able to undertake small ductwork installation jobs. Have electrical knowledge and experience wiring up replacement fans. Have electrical knowledge and experience wiring up inverters. Have electrical knowledge and experience working on kitchen interlocks. To be able to undertake small duct work alterations to allow installation of replacement kitchen supply and extract fans. To be able to provide detailed remedial repair reports with information of replacement component parts. Qualification / Experience Proven experience 3 years as a Ventilation / Ductwork I Engineer, preferably within the HVAC industry. Solid understanding of ventilation and ductwork installation principles, including duct sizing, fitting methods, and sealing techniques. Strong knowledge of industry standards, codes, regulations, and health and safety guidelines related to HVAC installations. ENG1
