Static Building Maintenance Engineer
Location: Studley
Salary: Up to GBP31,200 ( GBP15 PH )
Hours: Monday – Friday
Overview
We are a well-established, family-run haulage company with over 60 years of history and a strong reputation for reliability and service. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Static Building Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Studley, ensuring the safe and efficient running of our facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks across the site, including repairs to buildings, fixtures, and fittings.
- Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, and decorating work as required.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Install fixtures and fittings when needed.
- Maintain outdoor areas, including minor landscaping, clearing pathways, and ensuring general tidiness.
- Respond promptly to repair requests and emergencies.
- Liaise with external contractors or suppliers for specialised work.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work and report to the Site/Facilities Manager.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar building or facilities maintenance role.
- Broad knowledge of general building maintenance and repair practices.
- Basic knowledge of health & safety regulations.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to varied tasks.
- Full UK driving licence.
