Commercial Assistant Location: Studley Days working: Mon – Fri (40 hours p/w) Salary: £30,000 p/a Company Overview We are a well-established family run haulage company who have been established for over 60 years with a strong reputation for reliability and service. Role Overview Performing finance-related administrative tasks, preparing correspondence with customers and employees, as well as recording and maintaining data. Calling customers, accepting requests, preparing offers and setting appointments would also be part of the role. Key Responsibilities Assist in the production and maintenance of commercial policy and process. Creating system reports from CRM and other commercial software Compiling and submitting prequalification questionnaires Maintaining subscriptions such as construction line and compete for Day to day marketing tasks including content gathering for social media. Support online shop management. Support your colleagues in delivery of the team\’s commercial objectives. Bring analysis content to your team. Accurately record customer contacts and pipeline activities Maintain accurate records on project and internal meetings. Maintain other systems of controls over commercial activities. Advocate for high performance behaviour and application of standards. Volunteer for cross-functional projects and wider corporate initiatives. Requirements/ Skills: Self-motivated, proactive and hard working Engineering or business graduate seeking a professional post graduate training or qualification Enthusiasm to learn Strong data review and analytical skills Able to work as part of a team. Able to solve ad-hoc problems quickly with clearly defined solutions.
