Company Overview:
Established for over 50 years, we specialise in commercial catering, refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, and ventilation. We support a wide range of customers with reactive call-outs and planned maintenance, tailoring our service to each client’s needs.
The Role:
Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll support service, maintenance, and installation works across contracts including:
- Hotels
- Restaurants
- Care Homes
- Health Centres
This is a field-based, customer-facing role with full training and development provided.
Key Responsibilities (Training Supported):
- Assisting with servicing, maintenance and repairs on:
- Split Systems
- VRV / VRF systems
- AHUs (Air Handling Units)
- (Exposure to chillers as you progress)
Essential Qualifications / Requirements:
- FGAS certificate (recently passed welcome) OR relevant site experience (e.g., duct fitting / duct cleaning) with strong interest in progressing into AC
- Full UK driving licence
- Good attitude, willingness to learn, and professionalism with customers
Desirable (Not Essential):
- NVQ Level 2 (or working towards) in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning
- Basic electrical awareness
- Previous experience on commercial sites (hotels/restaurants/care)
Progression & Development:
- Hands-on mentoring with senior engineers
- Training plan to build competence in service, fault finding, and maintenance
- Opportunity to progress into an Air Conditioning Engineer role as skills develop
