Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and committed Peruvian Chef to work full time and take full responsibility for directing and managing the kitchen. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of traditional Peruvian cuisine and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire kitchen operation.
• Prepare and execute authentic Peruvian dishes to a high standard.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of traditional dishes including ceviche, lomo saltado, arroz chaufa, tiraditos, seco de cordero, and many more.
• Oversee menu consistency, quality control, and presentation.
• Manage kitchen staff, schedules, and daily operations.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are met at all times.
• Control stock, ordering, wastage, and kitchen costs.
• Work closely with management to maintain and develop the menu.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Peruvian Chef, ideally in a leadership or head chef role.
• Strong knowledge of traditional and modern Peruvian cuisine.
• Ability to manage and motivate a kitchen team.
• Fluent in Spanish (English preferred).
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Working Hours & Details

• Full-time position: minimum 40–50 hours per week.
