A Day in the Life of a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
As a Medical Lab Technician, you will be integral in processing and analyzing blood and body fluid samples crucial for diagnosing and treating patients. Your responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely laboratory results, maintaining strict adherence to healthcare standards like Joint Commission and CLIA, and operating complex lab equipment with precision. The role demands effective communication with healthcare professionals to relay critical data and discuss patient needs. You will also support aspects of quality control, calibration, and troubleshooting within the lab environment. Qualifications
Education and Experience Required
- Associate Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science or HEW Certificate
- Able to provide diploma of highest degree obtained (minimum of High School diploma)
- MLT ASCP certification within one year of hire

The pay range is listed above. Actual pay rate offered is determined based on experience in this role. Please be sure to include all applicable experience in your application.
