Cuxton Community Junior School is looking for a Mid-Day Assistant to be part of our hardworking team, which is dedicated to aiding pupils over the lunchtime period.
The Role
Your duties will include organising outside play and supervising the playground/field.
Flexibility is key in this position, and you must be comfortable supervising groups using your own initiative.
About You
You will be trustworthy, enthusiastic, full of energy, well-organised, and self-motivated.
You will enjoy working with pupils and be able to communicate at all levels, meet children's individual needs, and coordinate safe, creative play opportunities.
Common sense, patience, and good judgment are key in this role. You will also be committed to promoting equality and diversity, demonstrating good food hygiene practices, and following the school's pupils' behaviour and health and safety policies.
