We’re looking for a thoughtful, collaborative Digital Marketing Lead to help shape our digital strategy and guide a small, capable team across CRM, SEO, and content. This role sits at the heart of our marketing function, working closely with the Head of Marketing and Ecommerce & Merchandising Manager to deliver meaningful impact.

What You’ll Be Doing- Lead with Purpose
- Develop and deliver a digital marketing strategy that balances commercial performance with customer value.
- Translate goals into clear priorities across paid, organic and owned channels.
- Foster strong cross-team collaboration, particularly with our brand and content teams.
- Support and Grow Your Team
- Provide inclusive, empowering line management to three direct reports; a Digital Marketing Executive (CRM & email), an SEO & Content Specialist, and a Content Creation Apprentice.
- Create space for learning, creativity, and ownership, helping each team member grow in confidence and capability.
- Promote a culture of feedback, curiosity, and shared success.
- Drive Results Across Channels
- Oversee SEO strategy, ensuring content and technical optimisation are aligned with growth goals.
- Manage PPC campaigns with an eye on both performance and responsible investment.
- Lead email marketing and CRM activity, ensuring campaigns are engaging, timely, and well-targeted.
- Champion Insight and Learning
- Use data to inform decision-making while being comfortable testing new ideas.
- Champion an iterative approach where progress matters more than perfection.
- Share results and learnings in a clear, inclusive way across the wider team.
- Experience
- While you don’t have to be an expert in each area of performance marketing, you’ll need a solid understanding of SEO, PPC, and email marketing best practice, with experience using relevant tools and platforms and the knowledge to guide more junior team members.

- CRM & Email Marketing
- Proficient in a CRM and email marketing platform (e.g. dotdigital, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or equivalent).
- Segmentation and audience management.
- A/B testing and optimisation of subject lines, copy, and send times.
- Understanding of email deliverability and compliance (e.g. GDPR).
- SEO
- Competence in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
- Keyword research and content planning.
- On-page SEO (meta tags, internal linking, structure).
- Understanding of technical SEO basics (site speed, mobile-friendliness, indexing).
- Ability to brief or edit SEO-optimised content.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Comfortable using Google Analytics (ideally GA4) to assess performance.
- UTM tracking and campaign attribution understanding.
- Ability to create and interpret performance dashboards or reports (e.g. Looker Studio or Excel).
- Paid Media
- Experience running or supporting PPC campaigns (e.g. Google Ads or Meta Ads).
- Understanding of ad performance metrics and optimisation basics.
- Ability to collaborate with external partners or specialists.
