A Quality Control/Floor Inspector assists the Chief Inspector with all tasks required in support of the Repair Station and operations. This person reports directly to the Chief Inspector.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Work efficiently with the team to ensure smooth workflow.
- Assist the Chief Inspector with logbook research as needed.
- Perform aircraft inspections when not inspecting discrepancies or work orders.
- Assist with floor inspection tasks, including giving approval to close panels and acting as backup to ensure quality and safety.
- Help return aircraft to service after work completion, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
- Inspect completed discrepancies for proper repairs, documentation, and sign-off, following approved procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required. FAA-approved Airframe and Powerplant license required.
- Experience: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Understanding of technical publications and FAA/Repair Station requirements. At least three years of business/corporate aircraft maintenance experience.
- Other Requirements: Clean driving record. Ability to pass background and drug tests. Occasional lifting up to 35 pounds. Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and climb ladders. Punctuality and dependable transportation required.
- Preferred Skills: Attention to detail. Customer service orientation. Professional appearance and demeanor. Responsibility, reliability, and a cooperative attitude. Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly. Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Salary: $25-$45/hr DOE.
