Position Summary
Maintenance Technicians report to the Maintenance Supervisor and ensure compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer\’s instructions, and maintenance manuals. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, major inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of Pilatus PC-12 and PC-24 aircraft. Tasks also involve component removal and reinstallation, operational checks, leak checks, and engine runs. The AMT uses sound judgment and technical skills for maintenance decisions, troubleshooting, and discrepancy resolution.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Perform repairs following approved methods, FAA regulations, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives.
- Plan and coordinate shop activities to minimize delays and maximize efficiency.
- Ensure all work complies with manufacturer instructions and 14 CFR part 43.
- Protect parts and assemblies against loss or damage.
- Complete all repair station forms accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure tools are maintained and removed from service if unserviceable.
- Handle parts properly and preserve units during work.
- Familiarize with repair station manual, FAA regulations, and related directives.
- Communicate progress with lead technicians.
- Perform airframe and powerplant repairs, inspections, and modifications.
- Interpret manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
- Sign off discrepancies with complete information.
- Promote a positive attitude and teamwork.
- Use expertise to meet schedules and quality standards.
- Follow safety precautions and use protective equipment.
- Address employee concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
- Have work inspected by authorized inspectors.
- Participate in strategizing maintenance approaches.
- Provide leadership and effective communication to team members.
- Perform related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
- Preferred: Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
- Experience with Pilatus aircraft preferred; strong knowledge of 145 repair station operations required.

- AOG experience is a plus.
