Taking place in Italy and Japan, the frames are handcrafted by a team of artisans who have spent decades honing their skills. Today, the proudly independent eyewear brand has 5 flagship store locations in London, Bath, New York and Toronto and has over 2000 Stockists in 50 countries around the world.

Overview: We are seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant with strong Italian language skills and a working knowledge of corporate Italian accountancy practices. Based in our London office, this role will also involve regular visits to our Italian factory, bridging our UK operations with our Italian manufacturing hub. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and seamless collaboration across borders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the finance team with day-to-day accounting, reporting, and reconciliation tasks.
  • Assist in preparing management accounts, financial statements, and audit schedules.
  • Liaise with our Italian factory to ensure alignment on financial processes and compliance with local corporate accountancy standards.
  • Translate and interpret financial documentation between English and Italian, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management across UK and Italian operations.
  • Support process improvements and the integration of financial systems across international teams.

Qualifications:

  • Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
  • Understanding of corporate Italian accountancy practices and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across cultures.
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to travel regularly to Italy.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
