A fantastic opportunity to join a successful and established team in the UK/Ireland. Cutera is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth within a wide sales territory from Bedfordshire to Cumbria. The ideal candidate will be centrally located in this region and have previous experience within the industry, ideally within energy-based medical and aesthetic technologies.
This role is crucial to achieving our 2026 targets, selling capital devices and building strong relationships with customers, including new and existing business, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will work autonomously but collaboratively with the team to meet business objectives and reinforce our market presence as a global leader of dermatology and aesthetics devices.
Territory Overview
- Must reside within the UK territory / ideal location is Midlands/North West
- Ability to travel adequately to cover the region, including overnight stays, attend tradeshows, and corporate and training meetings. There may be the requirement to travel across territories (when required) at short notice.
- Valid Driver's License
Duties & Responsibilities
- You will drive the success and growth of your sales territory through cold calling and on-site visits to meet and exceed individual and team goals.
- Develop prospective new customers and nurture existing relationships to expand the sales of additional results.
- Meeting or exceeding revenue targets each quarter, while staying in compliance with the Company’s Code of Conduct and Sales Compliance Certification.
- Educate and demonstrate Cutera’s products’ indications, efficacy, safety, and how these products will improve the clients’ needs and that of their customers.
- Partner with the clinical, practice development and field service engineers to ensure we deliver a premium Cutera experience.
- Focus on developing the long‑term business results by building a strong customer pipeline, generating recurring revenue through product usage and having a profitable, consultative approach to selling.
- Represent Cutera at industry events within the UK/I region.
- Provide complete sales funnel information into Salesforce (SFDC).
- Define & generate the right ratio of leads per month to overachieve Sales Goals.
- Other duties as needed or required.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- 5+ years’ sales – Aesthetics or medical capital equipment experience and/or strong business-to-business.
- Detailed successful sales track record required (we don’t mind if you brag, show us how good you are).
- Understanding of the industry and the business challenges customers face.
- Tenacity, with a never say die attitude.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to present confidently and effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possesses the ability to collaborate seamlessly and effectively across various departments.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM.
