4 weeks intensive support to help young professionals aged 25-49 back into executive roles in North Essex. We are recruiting 2 tutors, each to be assigned 6 candidates to support for 4 weeks, one to one, 4 hours a week per person in face and remotely. (16 hours in total - of which 50% must be face to face one to one). This role will be carried out in July or August 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one support to 6 candidates for 4 weeks.
  • Deliver 4 hours of support per week per candidate, with at least 2 hours face-to-face.
  • Offer guidance, support and help with finding vacancies, encouraging candidates to return to work.
  • Aim for at least 50% of participants to be employed within 3 months.
  • Organise activities across 3 towns in North Essex, based at the local library.
  • Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to participants’ wellbeing.

Qualifications

  • Professionally presented, empathetic facilitator of similar age.
  • Experience working in a professional role in the UK.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) used by employers.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple candidates.
  • Respect confidentiality and understanding of mild anxiety or depression.

We will provide learning materials but much of the role is guidance, support, help with finding vacancies and a gentle but firm nudge back to work. Our target is 50% into work minimum within 3 months.
