We are looking for a driven and strategic lead to grow DOJÖ's customs and trade advice practice in the UK. The ideal candidate thrives on business growth and market impact, communicates effectively, and ensures that all client delivery meets DOJÖ's high standards. In this role, the professional will work hand in hand with DOJÖ's Global Trade Advice Lead and partner with Customs Support Group's UK Business Development Team to drive growth in the UK market. This is not a role like any other. It is for an expert ready to take on a unique challenge, driven by ambitious goals and backed by a team ready to make it happen. The candidate must embrace DOJÖ's mission to spread a new trade management paradigm across the market. Most of the time in this role will be spent engaging with clients and prospects, building awareness and recognition of our unique approach.
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow our Trade Advisory practice in the UK.
- Execute the Group's Advisory business development plan for the UK.
- Drive the Advisory practice's communication and visibility in the UK - with a strong focus on digital presence.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Be comfortable being visible on digital platforms (LinkedIn) and digital events (as Webinars).
- Ensure delivery of consulting projects in line with our standards and strategic objectives.
- Ensure capability development and readiness to scale in line with Group Consulting standards and culture.
Qualifications
- University Degree (LLB) required - with a preference for law, economics or international trade.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in UK customs and trade consulting.
- Proven experience in client management and business development.
- A strong growth mindset.
- Strong understanding of UK and EU customs and trade compliance regulations.
- Willingness to execute communication strategy and build recognition as a leading voice in UK customs advisory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Displays a growth mindset and readiness to embark on a new chapter.
