Overview
Mission for Housekeeper: To ensure that properties are maintained and presented to the highest standard possible. Guests entering a property should always feel like they are the first one to have ever stayed at the property.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all rooms are immaculate, orderly, and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ comfort.
- Provide basic housekeeping duties, including replacing linens, changing and arranging the towels, emptying and sanitising bins, restocking toiletries in an orderly manner, vacuuming, dusting, and rearranging the room after guests check out.
- Clean rooms and public areas, including vacuuming, dusting, removing cobwebs, cleaning blinds and curtains (where necessary arrange washing and ironing), picking up larger objects off the floor, cleaning glass and windows, spot cleaning partition doors, electrical outlets, walls and sideboards, sweeping and mopping the floors, and cleaning toilets.
- Clean communal areas as and when required, collaborate closely with Property Manager and Maintenance Personnel in doing so.
- Use the cleaning app and send pictures of the cleanings.
- Conduct a check-out inspection.
- Report any issue detected.
- Accurately estimate cleaning hours – obtain required information from Property Management System.
- Ensure supplies are available as necessary.
- Transport dirty linens to correct areas to be cleaned and to restock areas with clean linens.
- Ensure gardens look fully tidy and clean at all times.
- Ensure paved areas/slabs are weed-free at all times.
- Send reports to OE upon request.
- Communicate with the remote team on Discord.
- Participate in weekly meetings.
