Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the stall, including:
- Preparing and serving food and drinks
- Taking customer orders and providing excellent customer service
- Opening and closing the stall
- Setting up and cleaning down the workspace
- Managing stock and inventory
- Receiving and organising supplier deliveries
- Monitoring stock levels and flagging or arranging restocking
- Carrying out food preparation during quieter periods
- Keeping the stall clean, organised and compliant with food hygiene standards
- Safely operating the equipment used in the stall
- Be confident operating with gas powered appliances
- Taking responsibility for the stall when working independently
We are looking for 1-2 reliable and experienced people to join our food stall team on a long-term basis., Reliable and punctual
Qualifications and Qualities
- Responsible and able to work independently
- Organised and proactive
- Confident dealing with customers
- Comfortable working in a busy hospitality environment
- Able to manage stock and deliveries
- Comfortable opening and closing the stall independently
- Flexible with working hours
- Interested in a long-term position and taking on more responsibility over time
- Already has or is willing to get a level 2 hygiene certificate
- Previous experience in hospitality, cafés, restaurants, food markets or food stalls is strongly preferred.
Spanish language skills or familiarity with Spanish food and culture would be an advantage, but are not required.
We are looking for someone available approximately 4-5 days per week, usually working 8-10 hour shifts. Our expected trading hours are approximately:
- Weekdays: 9am-8pm
- Weekends: 11am-9pm
During the first few weeks, trading hours may change slightly while we determine the busiest periods.
Progression We are looking for someone who wants to stay with the business and grow with us, gradually taking on more responsibility as the business grows.
We also plan to offer performance-based bonuses linked to sales and stall performance.
Strong performance and increased responsibility will be rewarded as the role develops.
