The predicted salary is between 30000 - 30000 £ per year.

£30,000 per annum plus annual bonus scheme and fantastic benefits. 40 hours per week across 5 days, Monday–Sunday, on a shared rota. Earliest start 6am, latest finish 6pm. Based onsite – BA7. Due to the location of the Estate, a driving licence is recommended for this role.

Our Wholesale Operations Executive will take ownership of the day-to-day processes that keep our wholesale channel moving. From processing complex, high-volume orders and coordinating deliveries to building strong customer relationships and uncovering opportunities for growth, you’ll play a central role in delivering an efficient and commercially successful operation. Working closely with teams across Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, Logistics and our estate production units, you’ll ensure every order receives the care, accuracy and attention associated with The Newt.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage effective operational processes across the wholesale channel.
  • Oversee high-volume order processing, ensuring accurate order entry, consistent lead times and reliable delivery schedules.
  • Streamline order workflows to improve efficiency and customer service.
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale accounts and present seasonal products and ranges.
  • Manage customer queries, sample requests and logistics coordination.
  • Work closely with our bakery, butchery, creamery and farm kitchen to ensure orders are produced and dispatched on time.
  • Support new business opportunities and the long-term growth of wholesale accounts.
  • Produce and analyse reports covering order volumes, processing times, revenue, customer satisfaction and delivery performance.

What we're looking for
  • Demonstrable experience in order processing, operations or account management.
  • Proven experience using ERP systems, ideally Sage X3 or similar.
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel formulas, pivot tables and data analysis.
  • Experience managing high-volume orders and balancing multiple complex priorities.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with confidence in customer-facing situations.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience producing KPI reports, tracking performance and identifying trends.
  • A proactive, organised and results-driven approach, with a customer-focused problem-solving mindset.
  • GCSEs, A-Levels or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths; enthusiasm for specialist food-production environments would be advantageous.
