As a Senior Channel Account Manager, you’ll help scale our partner-led motion by managing agency relationships, enabling partners to effectively sell with Customer.io, and driving partner-sourced pipeline and revenue within an established channel program. This role is execution-focused and well-scoped. You’ll work closely with agencies, Account Executives, and internal teams to activate partners, support co-selling efforts, and ensure consistent engagement across your territory.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with agency partners within an assigned territory
- Execute co-selling motions with Account Executives, including warm referrals and joint deal support
- Support partner onboarding, training, and ongoing enablement
- Drive partner-sourced pipeline and contribute to closed revenue targets
- Deliver product and sales enablement that helps partners position Customer.io effectively
- Track partner activity, engagement, and progress against shared goals
- Support partner-led campaigns, events, and demand generation initiatives
- Gather partner feedback and share insights with internal teams
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams to execute channel programs
- Represent Customer.io in partner meetings and select industry events
How You’ll Be Measured

Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience in a channel, partner, or B2B SaaS sales role
- Experience working with agencies or referral partners
- Comfortable managing multiple partner relationships at once
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Able to collaborate cross-functionally and influence without authority
- Motivated by clear goals, structure, and accountability
- Bonus: experience with CRMs, marketing automation, or integrated SaaS tools
Structure & Collaboration
- Own a defined territory with a mix of inbound and outbound channel partners
- Work closely with Partner Development, Sales Specialists, and DemandGen teams
- Partner with Account Executives on referral-based and co-sell motions
- Operate within an established channel program and contribute execution feedback

Starting salary for this role is $119,000 base + $51,000 variable = $170,000 USD OTE (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment.
