Customer Experience Magazine (CXM) is a publication focused on CX news, thought leadership and practical industry insight. CXM is the media arm of Awards International, a global organisation behind the world’s leading Customer Experience Awards and communities. We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive with proven experience in B2B events and media sales to drive commercial growth through strategic partnerships, advertising, sponsorship and event-related commercial opportunities. This is a remote role based in the UK, with an international remit.
The majority of our clients are Customer Experience (CX) vendors across North America and Europe and the UK, including organisations in:
- CCaaS (Contact Centre as a Service)
- Agentic AI / AI customer service platforms
- Customer Engagement platforms
- VoC / analytics solutions
- CX consulting and transformation space
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of CX vendor accounts across North America & Europe
- Consistently deliver commercial performance in a structured, target-driven environment
- Consultative Selling (Client Objectives First)
- Run senior-level discovery calls to understand vendor objectives such as:
- brand awareness and category leadership
- demand generation / lead acquisition
- thought leadership positioning
- product launches and market expansion
CXM Commercial Solutions (What You’ll Sell)
- You will be responsible for selling CXM’s commercial offering, including:
- Exhibition spaces at CXM Summit
- Brand and demand generation campaigns (multi-channel)
- Awards sponsorship opportunities
- On-site video coverage packages (event interviews, brand content, post-event assets)
Required Experience & Skills
Must-Have
- Proven track record in B2B sales within events and/or media
- Ability to sell to senior decision makers (Head of Marketing, VP, Director level)
- Strong commercial judgement: pricing, negotiation, packaging, and closing
- Strong CRM discipline and structured pipeline management
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Nice-to-Have
- Experience selling to vendors / solution providers (CX, SaaS, tech, or B2B services)
- Familiarity with the CX industry landscape (CCaaS, Agentic AI, VoC, customer engagement)
- Experience selling into North America and/or global accounts
- Experience using outbound and prospecting tools such as Sales Navigator, Apollo, Dripify, Lusha, and similar sales engagement / lead generation platforms
