The predicted salary is between 25065 - 25805 £ per year.
Hours: Monday - Thursday: 13:00 - 23:00. Please Note: During your initial training and probation period, you will work on the standard day shift pattern of: Monday - Thursday 08:30 - 17:00, Friday: 08:30 - 15:30.
Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Knowledge of stores processes within CIL IT system whilst adhering to company IT and Data Policy.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, work closely with the Stores Supervisor to ensure stock accuracy and maintenance through physical and system stock movements.
- Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Pick and delivery of stock items to requisitioning departments on internal requisition, obtain authorised signatures for accepted items.
- Kitting for duties for box build and conventional assemblies (small basic kits of parts).
- Materials storage & handling (including operation of vac pac machine).
- Maintain accurate inventory balances with respect to identification, location, and quantity of all production materials within the storage areas.
- Materials relocation to stores from kits, count back, operation of x-ray counter.
- Support activities for annual stock check process.
- Follow published procedures and policies in line with CIL business management system.
- Flexible working between sites when required.
Intermediate Skills:
- Goods in receipt, including locating, checking, reporting and queries whilst ensuring shipments are correct.
- Responsible for loading and unloading supplies and equipment; if applicable, may operate company vehicle to deliver shipments; may assist in routine maintenance of equipment and shipping area.
- Kitting duties to support SMT (larger, more complex kits of parts).
- Cycle counting and batch alignment in CIL operating system.
- Expediting Co-ordination of the despatch process to include CIL operating system, documents, certificates, and transportation to support both the return of components to suppliers and also the delivery including export of products to and on behalf of CIL’s customers.
- Knowledge and management of project reject notifications.
- Clean room transfer, cleaning, and handling of material (BP2 Specific).
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision; managing own workload and bringing any issues to the attention of the Stores Supervisor.
Multi Skills:
- Material transfer between part records and locations.
- Material volume adjustments and transactions, understanding of material sign off requirements.
- Ability to mentor and train others.
- Reporting and monitoring of departmental KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent to include English and Maths.
- Knowledge of MRP Systems and experience in utilizing these would be preferred.
- Strong computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience of working in Stores within a manufacturing / electronics environment is desirable.
- Understanding of basic stores operations, such as FIFO is desirable.
