The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 Β£ per year.

Hours: 38.5 hours per week

Monday - Thursday: 08:30 - 17:00; Friday: 08:30 - 15:30

Purpose of Role: As a Rework Technician, you will complete the modification, rework and upgrade of PCB assemblies to IPC 610 Class 3 Standard.

Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Removal and replacement of a wide variety of SMT components down to 0201 and 01005 dimensions.
  • Removal and replacement of a wide variety of SMT and thru-hole IC packages and connectors including DIL, uBGA, BGAs, PGAs, QFPs.
  • Build product according to customer specifications and requirements.
  • Ensure all work is completed to specified levels of acceptable workmanship.
  • Follow company procedures and work instructions at all times.
  • Adhere to the Health and Safety requirements and regulations.
  • Adhere to the Company IT and Data policy.
  • Comply with the statutory requirements and regulations and Company requirements.
  • Carry out any other reasonable request which is for the benefit of the business.
  • Assist in the training of team members ensuring best practice standards are maintained.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in PCB production.
  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent. City & Guilds Electronics would be advantageous.
  • Hand soldering IPC 610 Class 3 trained.
  • Advantageous to hold a current IPC-7711: Rework, Modification and Repair qualification, or to have been trained at this level.
