About the Role

You will support an active 38‑year‑old female client living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (Type 2). She lives independently in her own home and leads a busy, social lifestyle.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting all aspects of personal care.
  • Moving and handling.
  • Medication administration.
  • Helping with household tasks.
  • Driving the client’s adapted manual vehicle.
  • Supporting her to access work, social activities, Powerchair Football, holidays, and community events.

Because her lifestyle is varied and active, flexibility with working hours is essential.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

Experience is helpful but not essential — full training is provided. The following skills are advantageous:

  • Personal Care.
  • Medication Administration.

The only mandatory requirement: A full, valid UK manual driving licence and confidence driving on motorways.
