Custodia is a UK based company, founded in 2017, with a wider presence in North America, Europe and Asia both directly and through strategic partnerships. Our current key offering is the CC1 (Compliance Cloud One) service which records, stores and normalises any type of communications data. This includes many common platforms such as phone, email, SMS, phone calls, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp and WeChat among many others. This allows companies to communicate in a compliant manner, whilst driving greater data‑driven insights from the data they already have to store.
Key Responsibilities
- The role involves customer‑facing solution design, architectural oversight, and facilitating workshops and presentations to ensure compliance and technical excellence.
Skills & Experience (Essential)
- Proven experience in a customer‑facing Solution Architect or Technical Consultant role
- Strong experience producing customer‑facing HLDs and LLDs
- Experience designing SaaS or managed service solutions
- Understanding of regulated or compliance‑driven environments
- Excellent customer communication, workshop facilitation, and presentation skills
- Ability to balance customer requirements with product and service constraints
Skills & Experience (Desirable)
- Experience with compliance, archiving, or regulated data platforms
- Exposure to financial services or regulated communications environments
- Experience supporting technical pre‑sales or complex customer onboarding
- Familiarity with structured service delivery or professional services models

- System architecture and design: APIs, microservices, integrations, data flows, scalability, security
- Infrastructure concepts: Networking, authentication, IAM, containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, databases (SQL and NoSQL)
Certifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Professional Cloud Architect
- TOGAF (for enterprise‑focused roles)
3–8+ years in roles such as: Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer / Pre‑Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, Implementation Architect.
