Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially focused and operationally driven Partner Manager to build, manage, and scale our global partner ecosystem. The successful candidate will own the company’s partner programme, partner onboarding, enablement, training, and ongoing third-party partner management activities. This role will also take ownership of the Partner Relationship Management (PRM) platform, ensuring partners have an effective and scalable environment for collaboration, enablement, deal registration, communication, and operational engagement.

The Partner Manager will act as the central point of coordination between internal teams and external partners, ensuring partners are fully equipped to position, sell, implement, and support the company’s solutions within highly regulated industries. The ideal candidate will have experience working within SaaS, enterprise technology, compliance, telecommunications, cloud, or regulated technology environments and will be comfortable operating across both strategic and operational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner Programme Ownership
    • Own and develop the company’s overall partner programme strategy and operational framework.
    • Define partner tiers, accreditation models, incentives, engagement standards, and programme benefits.
    • Continuously evolve the partner programme to support business growth, scalability, and market expansion.
    • Ensure consistency of partner experience across onboarding, enablement, sales engagement, and support.
    • Develop and maintain partner programme policies, governance, and operational standards.
  • Partner Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic third-party partners, resellers, integrators, and alliance organisations.
    • Act as the primary commercial and operational point of contact for assigned partners.
    • Conduct regular business reviews, planning sessions, and performance evaluations.
    • Drive partner engagement, alignment, and long-term strategic collaboration.
    • Support joint go-to-market and revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Partner Onboarding
    • Own the end-to-end onboarding process for new third-party partners.
    • Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operational activation and readiness.
    • Define onboarding processes, standards, and documentation.
    • Ensure partners understand commercial models, compliance obligations, support structures, and delivery expectations.
  • Partner Training & Enablement
    • Design and manage structured partner enablement and certification programmes.
    • Deliver product, operational, compliance, and commercial training sessions.
    • Create and maintain partner-facing documentation, training materials, sales playbooks, and enablement content.
    • Ensure partners remain current with platform updates, product developments, and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitor partner competency and certification status.
  • PRM Platform Ownership
    • Own the company’s Partner Relationship Management (PRM) platform and partner portal.
    • Manage platform administration, structure, user access, workflows, content, and reporting.
    • Ensure the PRM platform effectively supports onboarding, training, communications, deal registration, and partner engagement activities.
    • Work with internal stakeholders and vendors to continuously improve platform functionality and partner experience.
    • Develop reporting and analytics to measure partner engagement and programme effectiveness.
  • Partner Performance & Governance
    • Monitor partner performance, pipeline contribution, customer success, and operational effectiveness.
    • Track partner KPIs including revenue growth, certification levels, service quality, and engagement metrics.
    • Identify performance gaps and implement improvement plans where necessary.
    • Support escalation management and resolution of partner-related operational issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, Compliance, Marketing, and Service teams to ensure partner alignment.
    • Provide market and partner feedback into product and commercial strategy discussions.
    • Help define scalable operational frameworks as the partner ecosystem expands globally.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Partner Management, Channel Management, Alliances, or Partner Enablement roles.
  • Experience designing or managing partner programmes and partner ecosystems.
  • Strong experience onboarding and managing third-party technology partners.
  • Experience administering or managing Partner Relationship Management (PRM) platforms.
  • Background in SaaS, enterprise software, cloud, telecommunications, compliance, or regulated technology environments.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and training delivery skills.
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to balance partner success and business objectives.
  • Ability to operate both strategically and operationally in a scaling organisation.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within compliance, regulated communications, archiving, cybersecurity, or financial services technology sectors.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies including Teams, Azure, and enterprise collaboration platforms.
  • Experience developing partner accreditation or certification programmes.
  • Knowledge of channel sales methodologies and indirect revenue models.
  • Experience managing international partner networks.
