Join us as a Senior Product Designer at NatWest Cushon. Our mission is to help as many people as possible to get comfortable with their finances, and our vision is to bring a tech revolution to the financial services industry.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer who thrives on solving complex design challenges and crafting seamless user experiences. You’ll own the end-to-end product design process, translating user needs and business objectives into intuitive, impactful solutions. Working in an open, collaborative, and agile environment, you’ll work closely with other product designers, product owners, developers, and business stakeholders to design and iterate on products that make a real difference to our customers.
What you’ll do:
- Conduct user research and integrate insights into the design process, advocating for a customer-first approach.
- Create user journey maps, wireframes, high-fidelity UI designs, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively and ensure seamless execution and handoff of designs.
- Facilitate and manage ideation, brainstorming, and design critique workshops with key stakeholders.
- Contribute to and evolve the design system to ensure consistency and scalability.
The skills you’ll need:
- Experience of delivering customer-focused designs, ideally including native mobile design.
- Ability to work well in an agile, fast-paced, and data-driven environment.
- Experience of developing customer-facing digital applications and products and in launching customer-focused digital products.
- An understanding of user research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative, and when to apply them.
- Strong interface design, information architecture, and prototyping skills, primarily using Figma or Figjam.
- Knowledge and experience of embedding accessibility and inclusion in design work, ensuring that products are usable by diverse user groups and meet our brand standards.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience of running workshops and presenting design rationales.
