We have a great opportunity for a Business Intelligence Lead to join our operations in the UK&I on a maternity cover contract. As the Business Intelligence lead you will be at the forefront of guiding and expanding our Business Intelligence capabilities. Your focus will be on local delivery and transforming the UK & I analytics offerings. You will be collaborating closely with local teams and leadership, leveraging data to drive insights, enhance client value, and propel our business operations forward.
Working in tandem with a locally focused data operations team, your role is nested within the larger EMEA Analytics team, ensuring synergy with a wide array of talent including data scientists and automation specialists. You will have a strong background in business intelligence and data analytics, with experience leading a small team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement business intelligence strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Work with local business leaders and teams to understand the business needs and propose solutions in line with EMEA Data Analytics strategy.
- Communicate with management regularly to share updates on projects and ensure they are on track.
- Provide advice to other colleagues and project teams on the design and implementation of BI analysis.
- Be the ‘on the ground’ face of the EMEA Analytics team.
- Develop reports based on data analysis and provide recommendations for action.
- Manage team of local / remote BI specialists allocated to the country.
- Meet regularly with other BI leaders across EMEA to ensure consistency of approach and to share ideas.
- In addition to Country responsibilities, be responsible for an EMEA Sector or Service.
- Provide training on new business intelligence tools and technologies to users within the organization.
- Fluent in English, with exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Common MS Office applications to excellent levels including SharePoint and OneDrive.
- Strong proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data analytics platforms, with a solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and SQL.
- At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics.
- Experience leading a small team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts in a simple, understandable way.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
