We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Welcome Host to join our team at The Isaacs Building in Sheffield. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming, hospitality-led workplace experience for occupiers, visitors, and guests. As the face of the building, you will deliver exceptional front-of-house service while fostering a strong sense of community and connection. Working closely with the Building Management team, you will ensure every interaction reflects the highest standards of professionalism, care, and customer service, helping to create a vibrant and engaging workplace environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Guest Experience
- Deliver a warm, professional, and people-first experience for all occupiers, visitors, and guests.
- Provide proactive and personalised support, anticipating needs and exceeding customer expectations.
- Act as a key point of contact for occupiers, responding to enquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Build strong relationships with occupiers and visitors to enhance customer satisfaction and engagement.
- Gather and act on feedback to continuously improve the workplace experience.
- Operational Excellence & Coordination
- Champion front-of-house service standards and lead by example in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Coordinate daily reception and front-of-house activities to ensure smooth building operations.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and operational checklists.
- Work collaboratively with building management, facilities teams, security, cleaning providers, and other stakeholders.
- Promote occupier events, amenities, and engagement initiatives to encourage participation and community connection.
- Develop extensive knowledge of the building, occupiers, local amenities, and services to provide informed support.
- General Responsibilities

- Comply with all company policies, procedures, health and safety requirements, and environmental standards.

Key Experience
- Essential
- Experience within premium front-of-house, hospitality, customer service, or customer experience environments.
- Strong customer engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Experience supporting events, workplace activations, or community engagement initiatives.
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and managing a variety of customer needs.
- Desirable
- Previous experience within a commercial office, corporate, or workplace environment.
- Familiarity with workplace community platforms or occupier engagement programmes.
