We are seeking a Senior Surveyor to join our Lease Advisory team in Cushman & Wakefield’s market-leading London Offices department. The role is wide ranging from traditional rent reviews and lease renewals to tactical asset management including regears, lease re-structuring and related consultancy assignments.
Key Responsibilities

Manage client relationships and act as main contact on projects

Support business development through pitches, presentations, and identifying new opportunities

Provide technical input and solutions on leases and transactions

Collaborate across teams to deliver client assignments and generate new instructions

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure full service delivery

Gather and respond to client feedback

Identify cross-selling opportunities

Manage budgets and billing for client accounts

Use systems to support cash flow and profitability

Ensure compliance with firm policies and professional standards

Coach junior team members

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of case law and complete CPD requirements
Skills & Experience

General practice background for either a corporate or private practice, preference for experience in role that included experience in at least one of leasing, statutory “1954 Act” lease renewals or rent reviews

Strong technical knowledge in rent reviews and lease renewals

Business development and client relationship management experience

Effective communicator with strong negotiation and presentation skills

Commercial awareness and financial understanding

High-quality report writing and IT proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Knowledge of real estate legislation and case law

Degree-level qualification; MRICS preferred
