This hybrid role provides flexible support across key workplace functions—Front of House (FOH), Mail Room, Porterage, and meeting room/event setup—to ensure continuity of site services and seamless delivery throughout core business hours. As a central point of contact, the role is essential in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for clients, visitors, and colleagues, supporting the Workplace Team in maintaining consistent service coverage and delivering a high-quality, customer-focused workplace experience.
Location: Cushman & Wakefield, Cobalt Business Park, North Tyneside.
Responsibilities- Customer Experience & Front of House: Deliver a warm, professional welcome to all visitors and clients; manage reception areas and ensure high standards of presentation; oversee visitor registration, access passes, and escort coordination; maintain meeting rooms and shared spaces to brand standards; conduct regular floor walks and log faults via the CAFM system.
- Mail Room Operations: Handle all incoming and outgoing mail, parcels, and courier services; sort, distribute, and track mail within agreed timeframes; manage franking processes and maintain accurate delivery records; ensure secure handling of sensitive items and report equipment faults.
- Meeting Room / Event Setup & Porterage: Support setup and reconfiguration of meeting rooms and event spaces; transport and position office equipment and furniture as required; set up DSE and occupational health equipment at user locations; respond to ad hoc porterage and workplace move requests.
- Security, Compliance & Risk: Follow mail handling security protocols and screening procedures; respond appropriately to suspect packages and emergencies; comply with HSSE policies and escalate operational risks as needed.
- Workplace & Team Support: Provide flexible support and backfill across FOH, Mail Room, and Porterage; monitor workplace standards including signage and shared areas; build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and service partners; support reporting and undertake additional duties as required.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role with a focus on service excellence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, confident across all levels.
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask and manage a varied workload.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, solution-focused approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (intermediate level or above).
- Effective at coordinating tasks and supporting team activities.
