The Opportunity

We are seeking an Associate-level Lease Advisory Surveyor to join our London Retail team. This is a client-facing, revenue-generating role within a high-performing and established practice. You will take ownership of instructions across London and the South East, advising on complex rent reviews and lease renewals for both landlord and occupier clients. The role offers exposure to prime retail portfolios and the opportunity to further build your market profile within a nationally recognised platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead rent reviews and lease renewals across shopping centres and high street portfolios.
  • Conduct inspections and manage negotiations directly with counterparties.
  • Analyse and interpret rental evidence, market data and portfolio performance.
  • Prepare strategic advice and reasoned submissions aligned to client objectives.
  • Act as a trusted adviser to key landlord and occupier clients.
  • Manage a varied caseload while maintaining high-quality delivery standards.
  • Contribute to fee generation and support business development initiatives.
  • Build and strengthen relationships across the retail and investment market.

Experience & Qualifications

  • MRICS qualified.
  • Strong lease advisory experience, ideally within retail assets.
  • Proven track record of negotiation and successful client outcomes.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to provide strategic advice.
  • Confident communicator with strong report-writing capability.
  • Motivated to build client relationships and contribute to growth.
