The Associate will join Cushman & Wakefield’s market leading UK Research & Insight team. The successful candidate will contribute to reporting, analysis and thought leadership focusing on UK living markets and the conception and production of Insight collateral including data visualization and reports. The role will require regular interaction with internal stakeholders and clients. The role is a broad one that offers the successful candidate an opportunity to contribute directly to client business.
The main responsibilities include helping coordinate reporting, analysis and thought leadership across private‑rented, private for‑sale, affordable and senior living segments, amongst others. The role supports and drives the business through dealing with client requests and having responsibility for regular research into trends and investment into the sector.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate thought leadership and insight and be a recognised voice in the marketplace.
- Lead and undertake a range of research initiatives and outputs covering relevant investment markets.
- Market commentary & analysis: identification of specific trends.
- Undertaking regular presentations on all aspects of the living markets to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Providing relevant research support and involvement in client pitches and projects.
- Involvement in cross‑sector thought leadership.
- Minimum of five years of relevant research and industry experience that has been acquired in a real estate environment, ideally with knowledge and experience of the UK economy and living markets.
- Demonstrate ability to manage research projects through their lifecycle.
- Collaborative and team‑minded – must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- IT literate with a proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good numeric and data‑handling abilities.
- Ability to write clearly and concisely.
