Overview
In this role you drive financial management for client budgets and corporate reporting for CW and client accounts, leading a client finance team and ensuring policy compliance. You will coordinate with cross-functional CWFM and client teams to mobilise new locations, control transactions, and deliver timely financial data. You’ll own monthly accounting deliverables, variance analysis, and client reporting for the EMEA region. This is a hands-on leadership role with significant interaction across clients, vendors, and CW management, offering opportunities to shape financial processes and client service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support Account Director and Client Accounting Director to meet contract obligations
- Coordinate mobilisation of new locations and suppliers with Global CWFM teams
- Oversee client accounting team for transactional processing, PO and invoice controls, and vendor payments
- Lead performance management and development of the client accounting team
- Deliver primary client deliverables via a defined monthly calendar and scope global accounting services
- Produce detailed EMEA regional contract accounts with variance analysis for client reporting
- Provide Budget vs Actual insights and participate in client meetings with accurate financial data
- Prepare contract management accounts with variance analysis for internal corporate reporting
- Maintain knowledge of local reporting and tax requirements across countries
- Ensure compliance with client, internal, and statutory processes (VAT, Audit, etc.)
- Engage in ad hoc projects, including financial modelling and budgeting
Key requirements
- Qualified Accountant or relevant business degree
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proven team management experience
- Track record of delivering timely management information
- Knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP desirable
- Experience with major accounting applications and financial controls in property services desirable
- Fluent business English; excellent communication across stakeholders
- Willingness to travel occasionally
