We are seeking an experienced Building Manager to oversee the operational management of prestigious commercial office assets within the vibrant St Katharine Docks estate.

Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operational management of commercial office assets within the vibrant St Katharine Docks estate, ensuring both assets are maintained to the highest standards.
- Deliver a first-class occupier experience through regular engagement, visible management presence, and proactive communication.
- Act as the primary contact for occupier enquiries and service requests, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure full statutory and regulatory compliance, including health and safety, fire safety, water hygiene, asbestos management, and risk assessments.
- Manage planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance through the CAFM system, ensuring service levels are achieved.
- Oversee all service partners and contractors, driving performance, compliance, and value for money.
- Conduct regular property inspections and identify opportunities to improve building presentation, performance, and occupier satisfaction.
- Manage service charge budgets, expenditure, reporting, purchase orders, and invoice approvals.
- Support sustainability initiatives and environmental reporting across both assets.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, occupiers, surveyors, and internal stakeholders to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Lead and support on-site teams and service partners, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused culture.
Experience
- The successful candidate will be a highly organised and commercially aware Facilities Management professional with experience managing premium multi-tenanted commercial properties.
- Proven experience within Building Management, Facilities Management, or Property Management.
- Experience managing multi-let commercial office buildings and delivering exceptional occupier service.
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, health and safety legislation, and contractor management.
- Experience managing service charge budgets, financial reporting, and operational expenditure.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with occupiers, clients, and suppliers.
- Experience managing contractors and service partners to achieve high operational standards.
- Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
- Experience using CAFM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Education & Qualifications
- IWFM Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
- IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
- Membership of IWFM or another relevant professional body is desirable.
- Assoc RICS or a similar property qualification would be advantageous.
