We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Client Finance Manager to oversee financial management and accounting for client-managed spend budgets. This role is crucial in maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and driving efficient financial operations. The successful candidate will manage a client finance team, ensuring high standards in financial reporting, budgeting, and operational controls while supporting broader corporate financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Account Director and Client Accounting Director to ensure contract obligations are met.
- Oversee the timely and accurate financial mobilisation of new locations and suppliers.
- Manage a client accounting team, ensuring efficient transactional processing, purchase order control, invoice processing, and vendor payments.
- Conduct 1:1s, set goals, and oversee performance reviews and development plans for team members.
- Deliver key client financial reports, including monthly variance analysis and budget vs. actual reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local reporting and tax requirements across multiple countries within the client portfolio.
- Maintain strong financial controls, ensuring adherence to internal and statutory processes (VAT, audit, etc.).
- Participate in annual budgeting processes and contribute to financial modelling projects.
- Support business growth by identifying and implementing financial process improvements.
Role Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant or relevant business degree with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven experience in managing teams and delivering financial reports to both clients and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of IFRS, UK & US GAAP, and multi-currency reporting (desirable but not essential).
- Familiarity with major accounting applications (e.g., E1 360, Yardi 7, WorkDay) and financial control systems in the property services sector (desirable but not essential).
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Fluent in business English.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites and corporate offices.
