Job Description Summary

Commercial Legal Counsel (Fixed-Term Contract)
We are seeking a Commercial Legal Counsel to provide legal support across multiple service lines, including Asset Services, Occupier Services, Integrated Facilities Management, Project & Development Services, Brokerage & Capital Markets, Consultancy, and Valuation & Advisory. This role will support the Associate General Counsel, EMEA, and the wider legal team, advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters, including M&A and corporate transactions.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal guidance on commercial matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives while managing risk.
  • Prepare responses to RFPs and negotiate, draft, and finalise commercial contracts for various services.
  • Draft and negotiate supply contracts, including licensing, consulting, and service agreements.
  • Collaborate with global legal teams and external counsel on international agreements.
  • Manage and resolve legal disputes, working with insurers and external counsel as needed.
  • Oversee governance and internal controls related to contract approvals and execution.
  • Deliver legal training and develop a precedent database.
  • Support and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree-qualified Solicitor with 2+ years PQE (less may be considered).
  • Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and legal advisory experience.
  • Experience in handling legal disputes.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to provide legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in construction and/or real estate is desirable but not essential.
