IPM is a dynamic team working with a range of private and public sector occupiers. We are known for being at the forefront of what we do. This role is to be an integral part of that team providing excellent property support to those occupier clients. Working with the support of a Senior Surveyor/Associate you will be assisting in the management of a large, diverse geographical portfolio for a Government Client.
Responsibilities:
- To assist the team with the delivery of day to day property management services
- Liaising with C&W’s internal Accounts Team on the payment of Rents and Service Charges
- Liaising with the Property Administration Team in respect of database changes and invoice authorisation
- Organising Property Inspections for management purposes
- Liaising with landlords on minor issues and escalating to senior colleagues as appropriate
- Dealing with tenants including repair issues and arrears
- Providing support to the Estates Helpdesk in terms of lease interpretation and liaising with clients Facilities Management suppliers
- Supporting the team, updating C&W’s job tracking software ensuring the latest update is accurate and timely
- Liaising with the client team providing estate management support, escalating to senior colleagues as appropriate
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 GCSE Grades C (or equivalent) and above including English and Maths
Knowledge & Experience:
- Strong interpersonal skills and passionate about delivering customer service
- A good communicator spoken & written
- Comfortable with Excel, Word and Outlook and managing/handling data
- An understanding of commercial property and accounting helpful but not essential (training will be given)
- High level of organisational skills and ability to prioritise work
