The Technical SEO Specialist will support Cushman & Wakefield’s global Digital Marketing, Communications & Research Technology organization in strengthening organic visibility, optimizing site performance, and advancing AI-driven content and search capabilities across our digital ecosystem. This role combines technical SEO expertise with modern PR strategy, AI-driven optimization, and enterprise-scale digital operations. This individual will partner closely with Global SEO, Digital Web, Content, PR/Communications, and Product stakeholders to elevate our organic presence across 60+ markets. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation, hands-on SEO experience, and a curiosity for where AI, structured data, and modern search experiences intersect.
As a Technical SEO Specialist, you will support ongoing SEO enhancements across global websites, including technical audits, structured data improvements, content optimisation, site performance analysis, AI-assisted enhancements, and coordination with regional teams. You’ll play a key role in maintaining global SEO standards, ensuring search compliance, and integrating AI and PR strategies to drive visibility and authority. You will support content optimisation processes, collaborate with developers on implementation, and assist in guiding global marketing teams on best practices. This role provides exposure across enterprise digital strategy, AI content tooling, technical web infrastructure, and brand-driven PR amplification.
Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive, ongoing content audits to identify performance decay, topical gaps, and opportunities for content consolidation or refreshing.
- Repurpose and optimise complex commercial real-estate insights into formats suitable for media outreach, digital PR, and AI-driven platforms.
- Use AI tools to support content enhancements, idea generation and metadata creation.
- Assist in developing AI workflows for content optimisation and digital process automation.
- Maintain best practices for responsible usage of AI, ensuring all generated content meets brand standards and search engine quality guidelines.
- Support PR-driven digital amplification through SEO best practices.
- Identify opportunities where earned media and mentions can strengthen brand authority signals used by search engines and AI systems.
- Identify data-led story angles within research reports and proprietary insights to generate newsworthy coverage.
- Coordinate with Communications teams to optimise press releases, media coverage, and backlink acquisition.
- Monitor brand mentions, media sentiment, and digital authority signals.
- Repurpose existing thought leadership, research, and insights into formats suitable for media outreach, digital PR, and AI ingestion.
- Optimise repurposed content to improve discoverability across search engines and AI-powered platforms.
- Partner with content, PR, UX, and development teams to advance global organic strategy.
- Support SEO requests from regional stakeholders and provide detailed performance reporting and content insights.
- Assist with measurement dashboards, reporting, and performance insights.
Required Qualifications & Background
- 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience specifically focused on content strategy, on-page optimisation, and digital PR.
- Proven track record of performing deep-dives content audits to drive organic growth and maintain site hygiene in an enterprise environment.
- Experience using AI tools for content optimisation, content generation, or workflow automation.
- Strong understanding of Digital PR and how backlinks, media signals, and brand mentions influence search engine and AI-powered results.
- Ability to translate complex B2B or real-estate topics into clear, media-friendly narratives that capture audience attention.
- Expertise in using SEO platforms and digital performance analytics tools to inform content decisions.
- Ability to repurpose and position content for AI-driven platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and comfortable interpreting data.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with global teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Technology, or equivalent experience.
