Job TitleSenior SurveyorJob Description SummaryJob DescriptionSenior Surveyor – Niche Markets ValuationLocation: LondonDepartment: Valuation & AdvisoryOur Valuation & Advisory team in London is expanding, and we are seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor to join our Niche Markets team.The team provides valuation and advisory services across a range of specialist and emerging real estate sectors, including Data Centres, Life Sciences and other alternative and operational assets. You’ll work with a diverse range of clients including investors, banks, institutional funds, developers, operators and property companies.This is an opportunity to develop specialist sector expertise while working closely with colleagues across C&W’s wider Valuation & Advisory and Capital Markets teams.What You’ll DoDeliver valuations across specialist sectors including data centres, life sciences and other niche marketsUndertake valuations for secured lending, financial reporting, acquisition, disposal and strategic purposesProvide valuation and strategic advice to a wide range of clientsPrepare detailed cash flows, investment valuations and development appraisalsResearch and analyse market and transactional evidenceBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsWork independently and collaboratively to meet deadlinesSupport the preparation of pitches and business development activityWork closely with other C&W service lines on client instructionsKey RequirementsMRICS qualifiedExperience in commercial property valuationStrong understanding of investment valuations and development appraisalsStrong Excel and financial modelling skillsExperience with Argus Enterprise and/or Developer would be beneficialExcellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detailStrong report writing and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple instructions and work to deadlinesExperience in data centres, life sciences or other specialist real estate sectors would be advantageous, but is not essential.
