As part of our continued growth, we are looking to expand our market leading Retail Leasing team in London and are seeking a Surveyor, Senior Surveyor, or Associate to join us. This role will focus on leasing landmark retail assets for major London landlords across central and greater London. You will play a key role in delivering proactive leasing strategies, securing new lettings, maintaining income, and enhancing tenant mix to drive asset performance. You will be responsible for managing transactions from initial marketing and viewings through to negotiation of Heads of Terms and legal completion. The role requires strong commercial awareness, a good understanding of the retail market, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with retailers, agents, clients, and solicitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively market and lease vacant retail units, including preparing marketing materials, arranging and undertaking viewings, and engaging with prospective tenants and agents.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and draft Heads of Terms for new lettings, renewals, and regears.
  • Maintain accurate schedules of accommodation and tenancy data.
  • Undertake unit measurement and provide rental analysis, comparable evidence, and strategic advice on rental levels and incentives.
  • Manage transactions through to legal completion, liaising with solicitors, landlord clients, and asset managers to ensure efficient progression of deals.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to align leasing activity with wider asset strategy and performance objectives.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in retail leasing, ideally within an agency or landlord environment.
  • Demonstrable experience negotiating Heads of Terms and progressing transactions through to completion.
  • Understanding of retail measurement methodologies and the UK retail market.
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical ability, with confidence advising on leasing strategy and rental positioning.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and relationship‑building skills.
  • MRICS qualified (or working towards) preferred.
