The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This role is to work specifically in our Central London Valuation & Advisory team made up of 25 professional staff. The team provides a mix of loan security and fund valuation work to a range of top tier clients, and values some of London’s most recognisable landmarks including The Shard, 22 Bishopsgate, Kings Cross Estate and Broadgate Campus. The team focuses on commercial valuations across the whole of London and produces close to 500 valuation reports in any given year, with an aggregate yearly value of £100+Bn.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an MRICS qualified surveyor to join a market leading team operating in a fast paced and dynamic market. This role will report into the Partner & Associate level.
Responsibilities- Undertake existing valuation mandates and start to build contacts to attract new business
- Work primarily for loan security, accounts and management purposes
- Work in an efficient and successful manner
- Ensure valuations are prepared in accordance with RICS Guidance and internal compliance policies
- Prepare valuations and strategic advice to a wide variety of clients
- Be able to take day to day responsibility for execution of instructions under minimal supervision
- Coordinate the use of larger teams across the valuation department (UK and Europe)
- Discuss valuation inputs with market facing teams (leasing and capital markets)
- Promote the service line to existing and prospective clients
- Start to develop a profile in the marketplace through building key client relationships
- Play an active role in the development of more junior team members
- Prepare valuation reports, in various formats
- Approximately 2-5 years post professional qualification
- Commercial valuation experience preferred
- Competent in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Analytical skills to be able to draw out market trends and information
- Able to form and justify opinions on property values
- Confidence in prioritisation and working to deadlines
- MRICS qualified
- Able to build client relationships and create new business
- Familiar with Argus Valuation software
