What you’ll do:
- Lead procurement and strategic sourcing workstreams, delivering cost savings, cash benefits and commercial improvements.
- Plan and run sourcing activities, from RFI to supplier selection, and identify opportunities across cost reduction, demand management, supplier optimisation and contract improvement.
- Use data-driven insight to identify opportunities through spend analysis, market assessment and stakeholder engagement.
- Build evidence-based recommendations that stand up to scrutiny and present findings in a clear and practical way.
- Strengthen client relationships by leading day-to-day engagement with stakeholders, supporting decisions through clear options and trade-offs, and addressing delivery issues early.
- Drive innovation and adaptability by applying proven approaches to new problems and bringing external insight and market awareness into the work.
What you’ll need:
- At least five years’ experience in consultancy or a related field, with proven delivery in procurement and strategic sourcing.
- Proven commercial acumen and the ability to drive cost-reduction initiatives and negotiations.
- Experience across multiple spend categories and complex stakeholder environments.
- Very competent Excel skills with the ability to turn data into insights.
