About the role:

  • Model our core values by collaborating effectively, seeking continuous improvement, and representing the company positively to all stakeholders.
  • Lead recruitment and retention, working with Heads of Department to attract diverse talent, manage hiring budgets, and strengthen our employer brand.
  • Own onboarding and training, ensuring processes, policies, and equipment are up-to-date and coordinating inductions, internal progression, probation reviews, and quarterly performance conversations.
  • Manage the employee lifecycle, including HR queries, investigations, offboarding, people metrics, annual leave records, and sickness/absence trends.
  • Drive culture and engagement, organising events and away days, managing Engagement Multiplier, and fostering a connected and supportive environment.
  • Oversee office and facilities management, ensuring a safe, organised, well-equipped workspace and acting as the main contact for office suppliers and service providers.
  • Provide general HR and operational support, maintaining accurate HR records, supporting payroll and invoicing, and contributing to policy and process improvements.

To be successful in the role of People & Office Manager at Curvy Kate and Brastop, you will need to be a people-centred, organised, and proactive HR and operations professional who thrives in a varied role with real ownership.

You bring:

  • Strong HR generalist experience, covering recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance processes, and offboarding.
  • Knowledge of employment practices, HR compliance, and ability to work with external legal advisors when needed.
  • Experience coordinating training, performance reviews, and development initiatives.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage HR documentation, maintain systems, and keep processes running smoothly.
  • Confidence with data and reporting, including people metrics, engagement insights, and workforce trends.
  • Experience managing office operations or facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills, able to represent the company professionally and build trust across all levels.
  • A continuous-improvement mindset, always looking for ways to elevate the employee experience and operational effectiveness.
